Quelle est la définition de la folie, déjà ?

Bring on the Benning era reclamation projects!!!

This mix messaging regarding the direction of the team is so frustrating. From a rebuild, to a hybrid rebuild, to a retool, to whatever the hell it is now.

I think the main thing that management needs to do this offseason is to send out a clear memo detailing their plans for the franchise. Not the like the BS letter they gave out to the season ticket holders. No buzz words, no mix messaging, a tangible plan.

The Habs did it when they started their rebuild. This management/ownership team owes it to the fans, after the disastrous ~~5~~ 11 years.

What is the plan. We need transparency.

Is it Groundhog day?!?!? Holy moly this franchise just feels so cursed…

  4. I refuse to get mad about rumours. The rumour mill was saying there’s no way we’re selling core players 6 months ago. All these “possibilities” are just speculation.

    > a distinct possibility
    > will explore their options
    > open to using picks

This is so vague, like of course every team will kick tires on young guys for mid-round picks. I would say Allvin isn’t doing his job properly if he doesn’t even call teams that have those kinds of players and ask about what kind of package it would take to acquire them.

Call me when they actually make a trade like this and we can judge it. It all depends on the player

Nobody is going to give you their good prospects for just draft picks. You are getting players that they don’t think are good enough. Only scenario where I see this happening, is a strong team that has too many good players in the system. They will take something rather than losing them for nothing.

Great plan. Why try to draft the next Kucherov/Robertson/Kaprizov that fits your timeline when you can toss away your picks for a flawed young player who’s expendable for a reason

Why are we once again trying to shortcut the rebuild? All these shortcuts that they’ve tried and none of them have worked.

  9. Chiskey_and_wigars

I hate this shit. Build through the draft and only start adding bodies via trade when we’re a contender

  10. We’re going to trade picks for reclamation projects, then bury them in the AHL like we did with Reichel.

  11. hughesyourdadddy

Why rebuild when we can cut corners like we always do

  12. No_Turn_5526

If they do this, a good portion of the city becomes Seattle Kraken fans.

Sweet, so we get a whole bunch of failed prospects that didn’t live up to expectations.

Canucks Clay cancelled his seasons. I see many more cancelling if this is the direction.
