Except for the last game they played Carolina tough one goal games or overtime. If they make it through first round they have a chance against anybody. No one really dominated them over the season.
They are playing a system under Muse that caters to the strength of both the slower vets and the younger faster players. Sully tried to make the whole team slow the game down for the older core guys and it just did not work. Dubas has hit on almost every addition, and they have promising prospects plus a ton of picks. A great time to be a Pens fan.
The Penguins are this year’s cinderella team. Just like the Capitals were last year’s cinderella team.
The Penguins played the hurricanes hard all year except 1 game. I think they’d hold up well against them with a full roster.
Carolina can't win in the playoffs
