Going to the game tonight, first in person game in about two years. All I want is to watch some fun hockey, I hope the boys can deliver that

We all die in the end and when the sun burns out, so goes all history of anything that ever was.

  4. See some of yall at the game. God help us. On another note, I lived in Philly for 6 years. Saw the wings get shutout in Philly at ice level a few years back and those fans up close are aids. The ones in general admish are chill. Other side note, I never really liked or watched baseball until I lived in Philly so the only non Detroit sports teams I’m a fan of is the Phillies with tigers being my second fav baseball team. The bank is just such an awesome ballpark.

Anyway have a great day fellow wings fans and hopefuls LGRWs.

Edit: another side note, any of yall going to grayscale and the Maine Saturday I’ll see ya there too lol

Been very depressed watching this unfold. Can’t even wear my Red Wings shirts out in public. Sad!

For me, the Perron trade is the best example of the lack of imagination from Stevie Y and the pro scouts. Two years ago, I was glad Perron was gone. Sure, he had his moments, but he was slow and prone to taking bad penalties.

Yes, the Red Wings needed someone who’s willing to go to the dirty areas and stand up for his teammates. But they needed an upgrade.

And now, two years later, they bring him back, he’s even slower and takes even more penalties. He has ONE point and was even injured at the start.

Is that really the best offensive option they could find?

Maybe nobody wants to come to Detroit anymore, or maybe Stevie is just too risk-averse. But this trade really showed me that this team isn’t moving forward.
