I know it’s cliche and the Yzerhaters love when it is said… but when the kids are up and developing it’s going to be worth the wait. The future is bright, and if we could even flip one or two of these guys into a Robertson or Matthews, etc… that is fine too..

I’m excited for Genborg and Bear for their tenacity. Need to hope Plante can bring his play making ability up levels.

Holy shit there’s people in the comment writing off ASP and Kasper already like their busts lmfao

    Now you’re all becoming hysterical

You have to give the Habs props, they seem to consistently find talented players at great value.

Can someone explain to me why most scouts are so much higher on Hage than Plante? I don’t get to watch NCAA hockey really, so just kind of out of the loop.

Oh boy. How’s that been working out for the past 10 years. It’s time to get some established NHLers on this roster. Or bring all the prospects up and let them sink or swim. I don’t pay to see the Griffins, only the Red Wings.

I know nowadays we love our comps – I saw a Plante/Cooley comp. I like that a bunch!

I have also seen a lot of Plante/Howard sooooo hopefully much closer to Cooley!

The division comparison feels a bit disingenuous when teams like Montreal and Buffalo have some great 19/20/21 year olds already on the roster.

I think if you’re looking at Atlantic teams with the most talent under 25, it’s probably:

    1. Montreal
    2. Buffalo
    3. Us

Cool, so we’ve got 2 goalies, a couple of forwards we won’t see for a couple years and a bunch of fodder? Nice….
