The team has LOST FIVE A ROW on this home stand and you think they are favored or are going to beat San Jose which is still in the wild card hunt? And if Nashville ( which is already on a run, unlike the Ducks) needs that last game IN THEIR HOME ARENA to clinch that last playoff spot, there is no way they are losing that game.
Over worked goalie, horrible back up goalie, young kids who cant yet handle cruch/desperate time hockey, in effective "veterans" no players with elite scoring top player is 65 pts is not good enough. To many comeback points All these are dragging the ducks down. Ducks need 2 more years before they can be good enough to be contenders or at least make it and get kicked out first round

The Ducks future looks good, but not so much this season.
Their team defence struggles, they give up too many goals.
Outside of Vancouver (297)and Toronto (279) the Ducks have given up the 3 worst amount of goals (276).
S.J(274) is in the exact same boat.
Not taking away from the many good pieces both the Ducks and Sharks have and the leap forward for both teams.
Clean that team defence up and you never know

Ever since people pointed out the ducks were 1 of 8 teams in the pacific that actually want to make playoffs, they went "no we dont do that here either"
maybe settle down play one game at a time, not overload looking ahead to playoffs?
I was telling guys in a GC the other night, with the way how Nashville is winning and LA consistently gain points. Ducks could get pushed out. I think 4 of the guys are Duck fans and they can’t decide if Anaheim will be a first round exit or not in
I was at the Shark Tank last night. Some highly entertaining action but the Sharks couldn't put the Puck in the Ocean. …..You won't win many games when you let your opponent go 3 for 3 on their power Plays. Even if the Sharks win tonight they will lose in Nashville over the weekend. I believe we have lost 13 straight to the Preds. …..If you realign the west the Utah Mammoth could be the top seed next year. 🙁
My hope is the miss the playoffs and never make it back I hate the Ducks and Anaheim.
Mctavish is def gone in the offseason. He would fit the Mehta type of player so where ever Sunny lands mctavish could be there too.
Hope the ducks come back today and beat the sharks to get their confidence back
8 years of tanking and not a single player I‘d be jealous of if I was a fan of another team.
Next year will be a dip down again with our veterans getting another year older and Gudas and Carlson probably leaving. Maybe Trouba too. And we do not have the pipeline to compensate that.
Ducks fan, and I’m gonna try to be objective here. They have had WAY too many come-from-behind wins and OT/shootout wins. Those have inflated the point total. Now their luck is running out. I think they fall to P3 but that actually may be the best case scenario, since they don’t have a shot against the Mammoth. Of course there’s a chance they don’t make the playoffs at all.
Tonight’s game and against Vancouver are must wins, but I’m not holding my breath.

Ducks looked so good early in the season. Now they look like easy pickings for whoever faces them. But I guess they are a young team (sorry couldn't help it, lol) so maybe next season they will finish stronger. I just hope they can hold on and make the playoffs
