These are the little things that make the last few weeks of a bad season semi enjoyable. He’s a good prospect, and at literally any point in the last ten years I would’ve rooted for a shutout, but I unfortunately am in the position to have to cheer for him to lose. Let’s hope it’s 1-0

I don’t want to get ahead of myself and place insane expectations on a young goalie so this isn’t about that, but if we can FINALLY get a perennial Vezina-level goalie that plays 60 games year in and year out that’d be fucking amazing. Who knows what this kid is gonna turn into but this franchise has been starving for a Carey Price/Bobrovsky/Lundqvist/Hellebuyck for multiple decades now.
