Tonight sucked. One thing to lose but to crumble like that vs a team you’ve outplayed so heavily 5on5 is frustrating.
WPG is red hot & pushing for the playoffs. It’s gonna be a battle Saturday.
Only thing about the B2B that gives me some confidence is CAR seems to be focusing on rest/health & are sitting guy. Hope they do that vs us & maybe MTL does the same for game 82. Issue is NYI play those same teams.
Yeah the whole winning thing is the part that worries me. Tonight was peak Flyers but still extremely deflating and disappointing. Why should I expect anything different.
Six points (3-0-0) definitely guarantees 3rd place. But 4 points (2-1-0 or 1-0-2) probably does, too. If we get 4 points, the NYI would be eliminated with one regulation loss to Ottawa, Montreal, or Carolina — which is definitely happening. And Columbus would have to beat all 3 of Montreal, Boston, and Washington — which is definitely not happening.
I would just like to watch a game where #39 doesn’t take a stupid penalty. Can we have that?
Im convinced the way it will play out is all 4 of these teams go 1-2 in their final 3 and Flyers make it.
I just hooked myself up to a heart monitor to get a baseline for these next 3 games and all the display said was “ I’m tired boss”
