I guess I understand, Flyers have been the Cleveland Browns of the NHL last 25 years.
If the Flyers don't choke these last 4 games and they are great at choking, they will next make some noise in the playoffs and then go nowhere. Just like they have done for 50 years.
Unfortunately, Flyers will never get away from average unless they draft or develop elite talent. Obviously, that's no going to happen via the draft.
Flyers are overachievers at best and that's the M.O. for this organization. Martone will help but Martone is no Celebrini and you need elite type talent to win consistently.
