John Chayka is everything the Leafs reportedly want in a GM, while also being from Ontario, still ridiculously young, and has prior GM experience. He is the guy.
How do we have any concrete opinions on an AGM from Florida? We have no idea if he would be a good fit or not. These guys are just waffling.

It will not matter one bit. The Leafs could have Jesus Christ as the GM and Head Coach and would still find a way to not make the playoffs or choke.

I'm looking way off the board and scouring all of hockey to find our next GM. Fredrik Sjostrom (GM in Frolunda), Johan Alcen (Sports Manager in Brynas), Chris Abbott (Director of Player Personnel in Carolina), Alexei Sopin (GM with Avangard Omsk), or Taylor MacDougall (GM of Moncton Wildcats).

I don't understand why any of us can't be gm. Look at the dedication Steve has had all these years. Neither myself or Steve would have traded minten and a 1st for Carlo. That alone is reason.
I'm all in on Mike Gillis, I think he has the gameplan to overhaul top to bottom how the Leafs operate similar to how Shapiro did with the Jays
I love how the last couple minutes were just Adam and Jesse talking, with intermittent shots of Steve alternately feeling his soul leaving his body, and contemplating where he can hide two bodies.
