  1. Rachel, I love your devotion to the Sharks. But listening to you is like listening to the people who tell me the Warriors need to get rid of Steve Kerr. I am not defending Warsofsky but I am defending Grier. You cannot complain about trades that were or were not made unless you are in the room. Unless you know what trades were available you cannot judge. Just because you think a trade should be made does not mean another team thinks that way. I have not seen one single thing Mike Grier has done that I don't like. And just because I want to trade for a defenseman does not magically make it so.

  2. fire warso, he has no game managment skills, and i dont think the kids respond to him well. the lack of hitting this season was dissapointing as hell. i could go on and on. we need to hold gier to his words and hope that he makes the right choices this off season or celebrini isn't going to want to stay here.

  3. The players Grier has kept and the players Grier has let go or traded have all turned out pretty good so far. The players drafted by Grier even in the late 1st and 2nd rounds have been excellent. Give the man time to put defensive players on this roster and leave him alone. People are not as anxious to trade with the Sharks like before. Wait until the next wave of prospects comes to the Sharks. Along with this years draft.

  4. Rachel who would you have the Sharks trade. Teams are going to want Eklund, Chernysov, or maybe even Graf. And even then they may want a 1st round pick if the player in return is worth it. Plus the player you want may be in the final year of their contract so you have to make sure they will sign with you, or else you lose them and the player you traded to get them. For a lesser player they will want Bystedt, Musty, Pohlkamp. Do you want to just give them away just to make a trade to please fans. Or do you keep all you pieces with the hopes of landing a top player.

  5. There is no frustration mounting among fans. We got a glimpse of the future. We saw the development of the Sharks above and beyond what we expected. Did you think this year we would be the Edmonton Oilers. We are back on the map, but not a top 10 team. Yet!

  6. Todays fast food youth want things and they want them now. Connor McDavid is in his 10th season and he still hasn't won the cup. It took Mackinnon 9 years to win a cup. It doesn't happen overnight.

  7. I really do not think MG is the problem other than the Head Coaches he has hired. I do feel Warso is over his head coaching in the NHL and I thing the fact that he scambles lines so fast is because of that. I think he likes players like Klingburg and Orlov is because they are closer to his age than the young guys. This is why when Smith makes a mistake, he benched. But, when Orlov passes to the wrong team who then scores, is out on the next shift. I feel like we missed or chances to get Pete back, which I think would be the best coach for this team. It is time the Sharks highbred a coach with playoff experience and is not going to come up with the excuse that the team is still learning. This team knows how to get to the playoffs, but they need a coach that can lead the there.

  8. I think the future is bright and Grier has done a good job in stocking young talent. I think we are ahead of schedule. I can agree with you on Warsofsky is he the right person to lead us, not sure…

  9. Bring back Vinny D, he's been the most consistent D and has a good partnership with Dickenson. Other than that, call up Cagnoni and force the coach (whoever that may be), to give him guaranteed minutes, and make some moves to upgrade the other 2 spots. You have Dickenson, Vinny, Cagnoni, and Orlov. Dickenson and Cagnoni should QB the power play lines. Ready about 30 games ago to be done with Warsofski, not ready to give up on Grier yet.

  10. Everyone was expecting them to make the playoffs just cuz they did way better than anyone expected this season. there was no way were making it, and if they did they would be out in the first round. I do agree Orlov needs to go among some of the other players. I bet we see a bunch of the cuda D-men come up in the off season, and at the draft Grier who has done a great job thus far he has an eye for talent. We can not put all the blame of the coach, the players keep trying to do flashy passes and the cool shots (Even Mack) they need to focus on their puck handling, and stop turning over the puck, They also need to shoot and not pass every chance they get they have missed so many shot opportunities due choosing to pass in stead of taking the shot.

  11. I would say warso but he can’t make the players get to the right spot, keep skating instead of hooking and holding, hitting, and for f$&k sakes stop turning the damn puck over.

  12. Grier not trying to improve the defense at all during the season was disappointing. Even if he overhauls the D in the offseason and the Sharks become a wagon, should Warso be the one coaching it? Obvious NO from me…he seems like he’s in way over his head and not ready to be a head coach in the NHL.

  13. Going to agree to disagree. Management and Coaching Staff are doing a great job IMO. I love reading all the prior NHL Managers and Coaches opinions here.

The Sharks were 💩 the last two years and they increased their Wins, Points and PLAY….!!

People say the Sharks should go get this and that. It’s not that easy to sign a Top UFA Defender to a team that’s 💩.

How about be patient look at Buffalo for the past 20 + yrs. We’re in a good spot.

    Sharks 4 LIFE…!!

  14. Don't blame the coach. The Sharks made great strides this year but still lack defensemen who can keep them in games. Sharks were able to win games 5-4 and 6-5 but even when they went on nice runs the defense was still not very good.

  15. I’m sorry but I don’t believe all hate should be on the coach as much. Has it been rough lately? No doubt! But has this season been a success? Yes actually. It has been a huge step in the right direction. I think next season is where the coach can be judged more fairly among other coaches. Grier will give them a rework and hopefully focus on defense and then we can judge the coach more harshly.

  16. I don’t understand why they are playing Dellandrea. Other than to show he can still play and they have plans to trade him. Regenda was doing much better than Dellandrea.

  17. The Sharks really need a keeper that can catch the puck a little more consistently. I like their current keepers but sometimes they are a rough watch.

  18. I've had my differences with your point of view before. But this is just too much. You absolutely have zero actual idea of what you're talking about. Your issues with management make me think you just started watching hockey in the last few years. Talking shit about MG is pure idiocy, considering what he's done. Sharks community is growing and we don't need a fake, bandwagon youtuber spewing dramatized garbage. Please relieve yourself from your channel.

  19. They should let Warsofsky go simply because this job is now top tier. With the young superstar, cap space, prospects, and chill media, they can get the best coach available

  20. Terrible take. Sharks fans love and absolutely trust Mike G. He's been a big part of this turn around. We're not ready for a cup run yet, no point in going for broke at the trade deadline

  21. Ryan Warsofsky is not the coach we need. Period.

Yes, the defense sucks. Part of that is on Grier. He's done a great job drafting but some of his signings make me 🤦‍♂️.

Like why the hell would he re-sign Dellandrea!?! I hope to God most of our defensemen are gone after this season. Do NOT bring back Ferraro, Kilingberg, Leddy and Mukhamadullin. Orlov is still under contract 🙄

But back to Warsofsky. The type of style he has our defense playing is straight up garbage! None of them can get the puck out of the zone with regularity. ALL of them "pass" the puck out to no one! No tape to tape passes, just turn overs. So I know its a systems thing cuz like I said, they all do it.

I also think the way he deploys Dickinson is bad. Sam wasn't drafted to be that shut down D-man, he was drafted for his offense. I feel like he's picking up bad habits from this style. He was great in Jrs when he was given the chance to show what he can do but Warsofsky is messing it up.

And then there's his excessive line shuffling and playing guys like Dellandrea & Klingberg over younger players 🤦‍♂️

Anaheim went out and got a proven coach (yes he was part of a scandal but still a good coach) and look what they've done. They absolutely dominated us last night 😡

We need a better coach to lead us next season.

  22. Regenda is 26 he's probably gonna ask a high price to Sign. No one should be questioning griesy. We are ahead of schedule. Why would we get stopped and do bad moves right now that your asking when it's been proven we need better defense. Y'all want to mortgage our future like Toronto did. I think y'all need to stay with the plan y'all on this channel seem to want the sharks to make idiotic moves. And ransom our future for the present. There is no rush to jump the gun on our championship window for stupid contracts today

  23. I almost feel like Muk is gonna request a trade or walk by July honestly. Which is absolutely terrible for us. But Warso is gonna be the reason for it

  24. your takes are so refreshing. it’s totally okay to criticize those in positions of power in the sharks org! not sure why all of a sudden everyone is a warsofsky stan lol. some of his decisions are obviously costing the team losses and fans are noticing the pattern (playing delly/orlov/klingberg, scratching regenda for way too many games, not scratching toffoli when we can see he’s looking tired/slower on the ice).

i saw some people online blaming regenda being added back to the lineup for the loss which is such a bad take. like literally everyone played badly last night. at least he got some checks in to slow the ducks down and almost got a goal (before mukh made his). at least randy and drew gave him his flowers for that chance on the broadcast

  25. I was more frustrated with Grier last season when he traded Blackwood for Georgiev which was a shit trade we could’ve got a lot more than just a shit goalie

  26. I gotta disagree with the general sentiment of this video. I think Warsofsky and team has gotten the team to exceed expectations this season. I dont think anyone expected Sharks to be in a playoff race this quick into a rebuild. I think Grier's statement at the tradeline, was he trusted the current team enough to give them an opportunity to make a playoff push. Now going into off season the team's needs are super clear, and we have the cap to go after the key pieces missing.

Which brings me to where I DO agree with you. Orlov and Klingberg gotta go.

Side note, I think Grier also wants to give the Barracuda an opportunity at the Calder Cup given the stage of the rebuild we're in.
