Newsflash– The Springfield Thunderbirds have sucked like the Wolf Pack! Maxwell was their GM. Can't get excited by this move at all. John Lilley has done a really good job. It would be even better if Drury would stop trading away 1st & 2nd rounders. Sullivan pooh-poohed the "Sabres method." However, if you can draft well it gives you a longer, but better path to Lord Stanley than a retool, if you draft intelligently. Lilley will shine this year with 7 picks in the first 3 rounds( Drury will likely trade some of those away because his job is predicated on a retool, not rebuild.
