Been a fan of this game most of my life but while I'm a longtime fan of Los Angeles (36 years) and Philadelphia (22 years), if goddamned Tampa wins ANOTHER goddamned Cup for the 3rd year in a row? I'm done with the game anymore and want NOTHING to do with it anymore.
I normally can't stand the Rangers but almost a month ago, sadly, I lost my father at the age of 80. Lifelong Ranger fan and normally, I loathe them but these playoffs, I was pulling for them because they were Dad's team….I was stunned when they knocked off Pittsburgh, who had them dead but they came back and knocked them off in Game 7 at MSG.
I was REALLY hoping they could win it one more time for my father but you Tampa bags of suck? No chance I pull for you! If I feel any solace it's that my late father DID see his beloved Blueshirts break a 54-year Cup drought in 1994. So he at least got to see them win it all at least once anyways! 😁
I remember how over the moon he was then too. Was hoping for one more run but sadly it wasn't to be sadly. RIP Dad…love you always and forever! ♥😁
