Patrimoine : Les premières années des Sénateurs d’Ottawa



Il s’est avéré que c’était bien plus que « Ottawa s’excuse ». Honnêtement, ils ne se sont pas suffisamment excusés pour ce qu’ils ont infligé au monde du hockey au cours de leurs premières années. Dire que le lancement des Sénateurs a été plein de turbulences et de troubles est un euphémisme. C’était un spectacle de merde. Honnêtement, qualifier cela de merde absolue pourrait être une insulte au terme lui-même. Poursuites judiciaires, voleurs, luttes de propriété, soucis d’arène, la mascotte volant la voiture de société ? Ottawa s’en est occupé… et ils se sont probablement excusés abondamment (à moins qu’ils n’aient promu un membre de l’équipe de propriété au poste de directeur général de la franchise). Dans un tel chaos, les sénateurs trouveront-ils un moyen de s’en sortir ? Ou le véritable patrimoine finira-t-il par trouver le moyen d’émerger ? Je voulais faire cette vidéo depuis un bon bout de temps. J’espère simplement avoir rendu justice à cette folie.

    Tree, what are your thoughts on the Kraken? I honestly don’t know what they are doing since they upset the Avs a few years ago. I was watching my Mammoth playing them, and I didn’t hear the name Shane Wright like at all. What’s going on with him?

    Can we get a Reign of Error video about the Indiana Pacers' ownership before Herb Simon bought the team in 1983? Sam Nassi and Frank Mariani make Ted Stepien look like a brilliant mind by comparison. Letting Alex English go for essentially nothing in '78 was the lowlight.

    Ottawa apologizes for losing Lord Stanley’s Cup to Downtown Disneyland instead of the Parliament Buildings.. where the Old Lady originally came from… lol

    If Canada doesn't win a Stanley cup this year,

    You gotta do a video of a legacy of failures for Canadian NHL teams in Canada.

    30 years+ without a Stanley Cup since 1993.

    Then bring in the Raptors being established in 1994 and won a title in 2019.

    7 Canadian NHL teams in a country trenched in hockey and yet an Larry O Brien comes to Canada instead of Lord Stanley.
