I remember when people were basically writing obituaries for him and Ehlers after a slow start, as if the first 10 games in an 82-game season are enough to define a player.
I admit, I was skeptical he would be able to make a comeback, maybe even just that he could make a comeback in Carolina. Seemed like there were some mental/emotional/psychological obstacles as well as the physical ones, and I thought he’d have a chance of solving that somewhere else with a change of scenery. But so happy he was able to work through it here.
