  1. as part of ossenforts tanking they will trade way way down so that they can't get a good player

  2. i know he won’t fall to the third but if he does give me jacob rodriguez, but i love the emmet johnson pick. he’s a stud and can be a reliable pass catcher

  3. Don’t draft Reese. We did this already and it didn’t work. Get Love or Mauigoa or get a OL later in the first round. Get a QB later in the draft, there’s more QB we can get later.

  4. Do not want Ty Simpson at all. I’d rather have Carson Beck in the 3rd or later. I also don’t want Reese if Bain and/or Mauigoa are on the board. The rest of the picks are in line with where I can see us going, although I don’t think we need to add a RB unless there’s someone they really like and the value is there.

  5. Good analysis, as usual, from Bo. Reese scares me a bit as well. IMO, and that of a lot of NFL analysts who know more than me generally, he is likely the best overall prospect in the draft though, so it is hard to hate it. He is a freak and a baller. It irks me that some are comparing him to Isaiah Simmons, given that they are practically polar opposites as football players. Simpson seems more like a mid round prospect in most drafts and would seem like a desperation pick imo before about round 3.

  6. Terrible 1-2. This podcast slams the organization for not learning from its mistakes and yet, the epitome of that – a no true position player and a QB with limited experience. Even if you reach in this draft, it’s better to get two solid players.

  7. There just isn't an obvious impact player at the top of the draft, from #1 on. Do you take a talented off-ball linbacker with the potential to become an impact player at a premium position in a couple of years? Do you take a talented runningback and add him to a room that already has enough talent when healthy and you can get servicable RB for cheep? Do you take one of several right tackles that are probably good enough to start but are not dominant, especially when you have serviable options already there? Do you go really crazy and draft a QB that looks to be a perfect fit for Lefluer's offense based on 10 starts, and would probably be slow played, or wait on a potential servicable option later in the draft or 2027 or hope Brissett has a resurgence under Lefluer?

I don't envy Monti. At #3 there should be an obvious pick or several obvious picks but there isn't. Any pick from rounds 1-7 could turn out to be a goldmine or a complete dud. That's not unique to this draft, it's just that in this draft the differences in grades are marginal and very subjective. My grades for #30 aren't that much different than #130.

If it was my call, I'm stuck between Love and Reese with me leaning a little towards Reese… today.

  8. Deonne wasn't considered a hybrid out of college, BA moved him to LB because of an injury to a linebacker during the off-season. Zaven was never considered a hybrid he played Linebacker in college and was drafted to play linebacker so that's another swing and a miss. Haason was an outside Linebacker that had the body if an ILB, so great blitzer high pass rush ability was the sell for him, obviously they were wrong playing him at inside. So the only person it applies to is Simmons who played safety in college.
