  1. If cherny didn’t miss a significant amount of time playing for the barracuda after already playing great for the sharks, the sharks make the playoffs. Also NHL FIX YOUR REFS, every night it’s a problem

  2. The last three seasons the Sharks won 22, 19 and 20 games. The 37 games they already won this season exceeded the 30-35 wins I expected. There are significant numbers of 1st and 2nd year players on the roster still learning how to compete every game in the NHL. A thirty point increase is a huge step forward.

  3. They ran out of gas down the stretch, but I was entertained all year. Looking forward to continued strides next year. They are still so, so young! And they need like 4 new D-Men.

  4. Everytime my friends and I go to the tank we say, “where is Brodie Brazil and Drew Remenda!” Always on the look out for the you guys and Randy! The voices that bridge the gap between us fans and the Sharks. My friend was able to tell Randy to his face at the Caps game earlier this season “you guys are the voice of our childhood Sharks watching” and the best in the game. 🦈

  5. As the home portion of the season comes to a close we have made nassive progress I just hope we don’t regress

  6. Randy… back to you! Great season, big step… need to start on time next year. Our swagger got stuffed in a locker like a geek in HS, that we stole from the Pens.. and the Oilers stole from us! I think Reavo needs another year, he brings the swag all-day long! He's got a future in broadcasting, no doubt (maybe him, Celly & Smitty for the sandbagger?!) but I really hope he hits 1,000 career games and retires in teal at the end of next season. I believe if a couple of the Sharks prospects challenge for roster spots, and we pile up points in October/November (instead of starting on a losing streak), we'll make the playoffs 110% next year. We gotta hit the gas pedal at the start of the year, and be aggressive / rush teams (who are not ready, or their chemistry is off) I believe we went 10-0 in O/T to start the year, then lost 6 or 7 in a row after this. Unreal! Finally, intensity.. patience and the willingness to fight. After the trade deadline, it seemed like our "fighting spirit" vibes were low… we got impatient, tried to force things to the middle, tried to be cute with passes. After the March trade deadline, the intensity picked up (and Reavo was injured from the fight) I felt like teams took liberties like the Isles, and some others got scrappy. I truly believe if we're going to be a team to mess with next year they have to split up Celly/Smitty to 1/2C, re-unite them on the PP1 and also late game if we need a boost. These guys can't be shutdown by one line like later in the year, we have guys like Musty, Tuna, Lundy who are wingers that will challenge for top-six… and Misa/Smitty/Toff could be an incredible 2nd line (this might feel like a downgrade for Smitty but its an upgrade for Misa, so he should be proud to bring him up a notch), Celly/Cherny/Musty on line one? Teams started trapping us and clogging up the neutral zone, easily zapped our style of play. When this is the case you need to counter-punch more, be patient, 2 men high and stuff the breakout passes on the wings, make them go up the middle to beat you!!! Our F1/F2 forecheck was easily mitigated by a D-2-D bumper pass off the boards then a quick-out to the winger, 2 guys caught deep every time. That's exhausting!!!! If that's not working, you can't zap all your energy on foolish play like that!! Patience would say, as the games tighten up later in the year as "playoff games" .. 2 men high, instead of 2-in-1 high (early/mid season forecheck doesn't work in playoff games) being laidback does… and the only reason you do 2 men deep is if you're smashing their bodies in the first period. In a playoff series thru attrition and wearing them down for the grinding 7 games, you can beat them up in the first and ignore the pucks!! We chased most of the games after the midpoint of the season, and didn't puck possess / counter punch as effectively in O/T towards the end of the year. I'd love a more patient defensive rope-a-dope game vs. Nashville coming up, don't cheat/forecheck, just lay back and zone-D them, counter punch & transition game. Excellent broadcasting all year, loved the enthusiasm and incredible calls!!! Cheers guys, James.

  7. I brought my friend to the game last night, which was her first. She had a blast, saying “The energy was peak. I can see why you love coming here!” And yeah, a win would’ve been a whole lot cooler, but she still got to see a fun game: some scuffles, overtime, and a shootout.
Hoping for a strong finish this season and I’ll for sure be back at the tank next season. Thank you Randy, Drew, and Brody for being the voices of my journey as a Sharks fan. You’re the best in the biz and I wished you had announced the Olympic Games. Put your bid in for 2030 maybe??
