Glad the Sharks took the bait and selected Misa left us with Fronzy
After failing to acquire Demidov in a trade at the draft we ended up with Boisvert and Frondell instead. That might be the best trade we never made! Hopefully! Ironically we'll see both of them on the Hawks at the end of this year!
I am so excited for this kid to play with Bedsy. They are going to be a duo.

Pre-draft reviews said Fondell was not that good in the transitioning game or carrying the puck into the zone however, he is excellent on the boards, retrieving pucks, shooting from close range at the dots, and net-front presence, PP specialist. He seems to be a natural winger. I don’t know why anybody’s talking about him being a center. I think he’d be excellent as Conner’s winger.
I love that he said Barkov is his favorite player. Keep watching his videos lol. Excited to see what he can bring.
We need to pump the breaks not just on Frondell but every prospect. He’s an 18 year old kid who never played a second in the NHL and the fanbase expects him to be Barkov/ Hossa out of the gate.
GMKD was going for both. He had to take Lev with 2nd overall pick. Then Columbus would have agreed to trade 4th overall (Demidov) for 2025 1st rd pick(Frondell). GMKD would’ve taken Demidov. Anaheim surprised everyone by taking Benett Seneca 3rd overall and blew everything up. As the experts have been saying that was GMKD plan. Instead he ended up with Levshunov and Frondell. Not a bad result in the end but time will tell if Frondell gets off to as good a start as Demidov has. Hopefully better!!! Go Hawks

This kid is a unit, he could walk straight into the battle and make some noise in the NHL on arrival I recon.
Knew very little about Anton Frondell going 8n to last years draft, but a year I retrospect, I believe he’s the more developed prospect than Michael Misa is. Glad the Hawks drafted him.
That's it boys. Get excited. In 6 or 7 years he ll be an NHL regular and getting 50-60 points. Just what this roster needs . Bedard will finally have someone to compliment him.
Once Bedard turns 29-30, this team will be in its stride again 💪💪💪
