The Calgary Flames are such a weird team like they straddle between losing very badly or winning by a good margin. Although no matter what, they seem to go out there and play; trying hard despite being second to last in their divisional standings. I think this season is better to watch than last season because missing out on the playoffs by one point is maddening when you are supposed to tank.
Flames deserved the win but wow that was some bad officiating.
Eric Francis can bring a good perspective at times, but other times he's really gotta tone it down. The panel tonight being a perfect example. They we're just complimenting his play in the first period and his first thought is to go on about him having a lost season and all this other nonsense. This isn't the dig you think it is, if anything I'm more impressed with how he's turned it around with how the year started.
Watching Parekh play live tonight was very entertaining can't wait to see him dance the blue line in the new building

Its so hard being a Flames fan. Either the management or the players do EVERYTHING in their power to not have star players or cups. Science should study the phenomenon that is the Flames. Only time we get anything good is if we get beyond lucky.

Very surprising that the Zary goal counted. Was it challenged? I guess you could make the argument that he didn't intentionally kick it, but it's pretty hard to determine intent. I'm not even sure that's mentioned in the rule. It sure looked like a kicking motion.
