Not surprising, wish he give some earlier notice so he could’ve gotten a nice ovation at the garden, but maybe he don’t want the attention. HOF next stop and thanks for 3 years in NY.

One of the greats. Too bad it ended with such a shit team

Say it aint so

Retain him as a goalie consultant as soon as the season ends.

Best American goaltender, and provided a lot of us these 3 years. Most American Wins and a very memorable 1 Stanley cup in 2012, Well see him in the hall in 3 years.

As much as I’d have loved to give him a huge ovation at MSG, I respect this. First class ‘it’s not about me’ hockey player move.

It would behoove the Rangers to lose out, but I would like to see Quick go out with a win. No matter, an awesome Hall of Fame career. It was cool he was able to finish it up with s, his favorite team growing up.

He was so good for us. I’m surprised we got 3 great years of goaltending from him given his age and he’s still playing great just before retiring!

Stick taps for an all-time great. Even if he did rob NYR of a Cup, can’t help but love the guy.

Damn. Quick was so good his first year here (not saying he’s not always good but he was great) thanks for memories besides beating us in the cup.

If you told me 12 years ago I would eventually love Quick, I’d say you were crazy. Was really cool to watch him for the last three years

Such a leader on this team. Going to miss him!

It seemed like this was coming for a while, but still sucks. Would’ve loved for Quick to go out after, at the very least, a deep postseason run with us.

Oh well

Last game or last game as a ranger ?

I will be at the game tonight so I’ll give him the standing ovation he deserves

It’ll be sad to see the Columbus Blue Jacket great go but we all knew the day would come.
In all seriousness, I hope he enjoys the retirement. It was great to see him play in goal for NYR when he was, ironically, in Columbus. I am gonna miss making the “Columbus Blue Jacket Great” joke

Thank you old man Quickie for joining NYR in your swan song.

Damn. One of Drury’s actual good moves. 3 solid years of back up high level play.
