They could have gone .350 from there and still coasted to M3. Instead they went 3-8-1 like a bunch of fucking pansies. Just one more win and it would have been almost a lock.

I said « 5 more wins and we’re in » It felt impossible that playing the way they were that it wouldn’t happen. Unbelievable that they only got five more points.
LOL We had people in here arguing that this year’s team would sweep the 2019 team.

A bottlejob for the ages.

The frustrating thing is there are some really, really good components in place.
So I don’t think scrapping it all for a three to five-year rebuild is on anyone’s radar (ownership).
The pressure to make the playoffs was on this year and many players couldn’t handle it. Next year, the pressure will be even worse.
If no playoffs next season, then you blow it all up.

Canes and Flyers have scored 14 points since, Penguins 12, Isles 6, and the Jackets… 5.

Am I crazy for thinking that 92pts is around the ceiling for this roster? Seems like a minority opinion around here?
The way we got to it was an absolutely horrible experience for sure.
In year 2 of new management seems to me like the floor has been raised, which is a silver lining.

That was a fun time. We need a banner for this in Nationwide
Those, were the days
How do we ditch this losing culture? So many different gms, coaches, players. But the losing culture never changes. Is it ownership??
