Quick is 40?? Wouldn’t have guessed that.

He should have ended his career a King, but that’s a thing of the past. What an outstanding career.

Columbus Blue Jackets legend, Johnathan Quick!?!

  4. 2012 Quick was a monster.  Was very happy when he wrecked Jersey (that was the best Panthers team since the 96 squad at the time and until the Cup Win ai had nightmares about that Double OT Game 7).

  5. Legend. Thank you, Jonathan Quick! 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

  6. I hope Florida fans treat him with some respect and give him a standing ovation before he leaves the ice

He will go in as the best kings goaltender of all time.

  8. I modeled my entire goaltending style off of him, watching him look UNDER the screen in butterfly was a game changer. Dude had to be one of thee if not the best pure butterfly goalies in his prime, it was amazing to watch and study his style of play. Sure my hips and knees despise me for it but boy is it fun to do

Smart move announcing it ahead of the game, so Sam Bennett doesn’t try to retire him with his forearm tonight.

  10. What a career still won’t get over the cup finals in 2012 but my god he was a great goalie

As a rangers fan, I will definitely miss him. No better tandem in the league these past couple of years. As a hockey fan, I will doubly miss him. A stellar career and was always exciting in net.

this kinda made me pause more than i expected… i wasn’t even a huge hockey fan growing up but i remember staying up late watching games with my dad just because he was so into it, and certain players just felt like they were always gonna be there
