  1. Still cannot forgive him for 2014, but grew to like him once he became a Ranger.

  2. Yeah it was when the Blackhawks and Kings were taking turns winning with the Bruins thrown in there. I think it was:

    Chicago
    Boston
    LA
    Chicago
    LA
    Chicago

The definition of a good soldier. These last two seasons couldn’t have been easy but he never took a night off. I hope he sticks around in some capacity.

Really interesting career arc, I’ll be curious to see how he ends up discussed 5-10 years from now. Elevated insanely high in 2012, always on great defensive teams but never viewed in the same vein as Lundqvist/Price in his era.

Was pleasantly surprised with his play in 2023-2024 and really did help a ton as a Ranger

I remember watching him in the preseason in his first season here and he was so bad. I was sitting there thinking ‘Oh crap, this is gonna be a disaster’.

Shows you how much I know.

He did everything the Rangers could have asked of him and then some. He was a good goalie and a good teammate. He never took a night off even when many times the team in front of him did.

Now he can ride off into the sunset and wait for the Hall of Fame to call in three years.

What? I thought he was going til at least 65. Maybe a few seasons more if they bump up the retiring age before then.

  7. He was great for us, woulda been happy if he did another 1-2 seasons longer.
