Why did he put the shackles on Schaeffer? I was at the Chicago game and the Ottawa game, and even though they lost both, they looked confident and dangerous with Schaeffer playing over 30 minutes with 8 shots against the Hawks. Against Ottawa he played 24 and only had 4 and looked like he was second guessing every decision. When you have a talent like that that can totally take a game over and you limit him off the bat, you're gonna be in trouble. Say what you want about Roy but he had confidence in his team and they played like it. They looked like they didnt even know what they were doing against Ottawa and Montreal.
Pretty telling when there is no post game presser ! Was DeBoers grand plan to have Schaefer not shoot the puck the last 2 games ? If so, it worked great ! Roy wasn’t the problem !
darche is a hell of a talker and salesman…but i personally dont think he knows what he is going i think he is incompetant…..and im pretty sure time will tell.

Going to be interesting to see him with a full season – need a talent upgrade on this team over the summer.
