  1. EP40 to Seattle for Shane Wight and a ‘26 1st, which should get you, Caleb Malhotra… and Seattle gets their superstar!

  2. He's gonna be a Red Wing. Stevie Y's back is against the wall and with no 1st round pick to go after big names he's gonna go bargain hunting again and with his love for 40 point C's that can play some D here and there it's a match made in heaven🤷‍♂😂

  3. He needs a change. Also, he is not being coached the right way. Also, I have seen him make amazing passes but he linemate can't finish. He needs to get into the open spaces on the ice, move his feet in burst like all the superstars do. Also, the Canucks are not setting him up for the one timer on the PP. If I was his coach, I would say we are going to get you the puck and even if there is someone in front of you on the PP, blast the puck as hard as you can. Even if it is blocked.

  4. Trade ep40. Just for savings even. He bad around the new lads, poison in the room, and not great to watch play.

  5. Trust me, any Nordic (Swedish) would leave if simply asked. He is the only one that has stayed true to his word unlike Tocchet and Hughes. He would be way better off for Detroit considering his horrendous line mates. Like truly lacklustre. He has ~10 more years left in his tank and I can almost guarantee you a Cup win. Unlike Miller. As long as he leaves Vancouver.

  6. It will be very interesting to say the least to see how management navigates the worst contract in team history (that THEY signed him to). They absolutely should have traded him before the NMC kicked in. Now, they have to ASK him where he’d like to play, and they’ll have zero leverage in any deal. At this point, if they can trade him for a bag of pucks and NO salary retention, that’s a win. Good luck finding a team that A. EP40 would accept a trade to and B. A team that can absorb the cap hit with no retention.

  7. Red Wings would get the most out of him. But dont know what the Canucks would get out of it.

He clearly is not the right fit for Vancouver

  8. At this point he is untradable. unless we package him with a pick to get rid of him. And pay part of his contract. I don't want that. Like OEL just bite the bullet hang on to him. Get players he can play with. Get some players who can protect our young guys. Douglas can't do it by himself. It was obvious when we had Zadorov and I know you never liked him Leggo. Or Cole. Even with Schenn who protected our guys they played better. You don't win with soft skill players. You can only have a few on a team. We are going in the right direction. But it will take time. But management wants to fast track. Big mistake. Kane gone should help. And Marcus has a no trade clause. Would like him to be moved if we can get a pick for him. Definitely not worth a first. Just seems management wants to rinse and repeat the same thing they have been doing.. We needed a guy like Miller. It is not easy building a team. Need more players over 200 pounds. Still get pushed around to much.

  9. EP 40 needs to go along with his attitude. If we can move him, ok way overpaid for what he produces. Stop blaming linemates, he's had plenty of different ones, stop blaming the coaches. We will never have a team as long as he's here. All the new rookies see this.
