That’s not bad for Row 1 , I know they’re shitty right now but they have won a couple in a row. I’d do it just for the experience to say you sat row 1. Closest i’ve been was around row 10 behind the net
We have the worst team in the league, them charging $300 for any ticket should be illegal
To watch the game. They are awful seats. You will be looking up at the Jumbotron 75% of the game.
To appreciate how big and fast the players are it is a lot of fun.
Ya , it will be fun. Super cool up against the glass!
No, unless your goal is to get on TV
You can’t see half the ice. I think it’s gimmicky, in that it’s really only worth it IMO if there’s like a giant scrum or if you want a unique experience.
Middle, lower bowl for the same price all day every day if you want a good view of the game
If you’re after “Thrill, vibe, and defence” you’re going to have a rollercoaster of a night.
I’ve sat row 1 before. You have to adjust your expectations that you’re there for a completely different experience. It’s a super cool experience, but wouldn’t be my pick if I want to watch the game
Sure – you’re right on the corner by the net in the canucks zone (twice) – probably see some guys get thrown into the boards and some pucks flying at you.
Can be fun behind the net or on the far end of the corners where you don’t have to crane your neck too much to see the jumbotron, since you’ll be watching it a lot from that low. Still a great time and a fun way to experience a game, it’s just not the most comfortable way to watch a game.
I’ve sat row 1 three times and have had a blast every single time. It feels special being right there. You notice so many things you’d never normally see or think about. I didn’t mind having to look at the jumbotron occasionally either. I hope you enjoy it!
You’ll get to see Kopitars last game in Vancouver!
Watching the pain up close is an experience. I did up close once and it’s pretty neat.
Personally I think sitting against the glass is the best seat in the house. I used to watch a decent amount of Junior A and liked watching at ice level.
I don’t really find it as hard to follow as everyone else seems to be mentioning.
For sure, while the Canucks aren’t good and the game might be a wash this is Anze Kopitar’s last regular season game for what is a 20 year 1st Ballot Hall of Fame career. Thats a special moment to be a part of for sure.
Front row is a much more sensory experience. You’ll get a better idea of the speed of the game sitting up against the glass and when the play is in front of you, you’ll hear and feel it in ways you don’t from the 300 level.
On the other hand, your view of the entire ice surface may or may not be that good and you don’t see plays develop in the way you would if you sat higher up. It’s not like basketball where courtside seats are the best view.
For Kopitar fans, absolutely
Face value. It’s a treat seeing it up close. row 1; I’ve been told has its sight line challenges.
Bottom line- if it’s a treat to you- value is up to you and who cares what we think.
regardless of row, the last home game is always a treat.
They usually give stuff out and lots of prizes to be won
Very much worth doing a few times. Ive been watching hockey for 40 years and it FLOORS me how impressive the game is when youre that close. It’s drastically different from even 10 rows up
I visited Vancouver recently and went to a Canucks game where I sat at the front. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! You can see the players zoom zoom zoom and it’s soooooo fun. You can hear and see so well. You’d never get these tickets so cheap elsewhere. Enjoy it! I’d definitely do it again myself.
It’s never worth it to watch the LA Kings, most boring team to watch in hockey.
I’ve sat in the front row once from winning a contest.
Otherwise, I would never be able to afford one.
But it’s a totally different experience. You’re not there to watch the game but to experience the game… I don’t know if that makes sense 😂
It’s cool ONCE. Especially if the price is reasonable. The view of the game is shit.
The game feels completely different between upper bowl and lower bowl. Lower bowl really highlights the physical attributes (size/speed/dexterity) of the players.
Asking if any ticket is worth it will not give you many positive responses when the team has easily clinched last place. lol.
With that said, enjoy the game.
