   If the playoffs started today they’d play Ottawa. That matchup would be a very fun watch.

   It could also mean they would potentially face Buffalo in the ECF if both make it past the first two rounds, which would be an absolutely chaotic series.

    This playoff format is so stupid.

    I’m very excited the flyers get to avoid Carolina in round 1, but it’s stupid they get rewarded for finishing 3rd in division.

    Tampa and Montreal at 106+ points playing each other while Pittsburgh and Philly square off at <100 points.
