Shannon in 2018 Vegas swept the kings and the sharks swept the ducks. Vegas beats San Jose in 6, Winnipeg in 5 and loses to the caps in the final in 5.

Happy the Ducks made the playoffs but as a fan I am not expecting them to make a deep run this year. too many weaknesses in their game still.
When they switched back to the mighty duck logo I wanted it back in the playoffs so bad and now it's happening. Very excited to see how they do and for the future of this team. The fact they even managed to attract a big name like John Carlson is also a very good sign as well.
Shannon, Kreider has 22 goals, 28 assists (not 26) and 50 points, not 48. I'm an OCD stat guy myself. 🙂 As to the point about McTavish, I also think the team is more balanced now and we get contributions from multiple guys. We have a lot of talent. I do think because the lines change so much that might hurt individual player stats because they aren't able to play with the same linemates all the time. I hope eventually the lines can be more established and consistent, but I can see why a bit of shuffling is necessary when the team is struggling. Id like to see them win the final two games on the road to build some momentum, today in Minnesota and then Nashville. The monkey is off their back as far as making the playoffs, so I hope they can relax and just play their game. I'd like to see Ross come back, I know the playoffs can get some rough stuff. He matters. I think they need to tighten up the defense alot or we may see some movement there this summer. Last but not least, I've felt bad for Frank Vatrano's season. He's such a good player. I'm so puzzled. I hope he's not traded but I feel like most likely he will be. What a shame.

All i hope is that the Avs dont face them in the first round because YOU KNOW Radko Gudas wont be able to resist giving Landeskog a career ending knee injury and the league will suspend him for 2 games maybe.
Oilers gonna give them a tough fight. I thought Husso was going to shore up their netminding but it was not to be.
I so glad they are back in the playoffs. Its been too long. I finally feel the anticipation of playoff matchups instead of just waiting for the next draft lottery.
I wish they could have figured out how to keep Zegras. He was one of the bright spots during the dark years. Cronin sucked the fun out of the team and Zegras is at his best when he is having fun.
I hope they can make it a few rounds, but I think a 2nd round exit is in the forecast. I would love to see them in the WCF though. This late losing streak has caused them to come in to the playoffs as more of an underdog than they deserve to be, but thats ok.
Some names on the up- and comers to look out for in the next few years: Stian Solberg & Konnor Smith for physical defensemen, Forwards Herman Traff, Maxim Masse, Roger McQueen. Damien Clara showed up at the Olympics for italy and I hope he pans out in goal for Anaheim too.

As a ducks fan I found this channel in 2018 right before those playoffs and eight years of great insights later we're back! So feels very full circle to FINALLY have a video back about us getting back in the dance. This season was such a roller coaster full of flashes of brilliance, last minute comebacks (that could've been prevented by ANY sort of defense), and frustrating losing skids — so I'm grateful to even just have games back at the pond in late April for the first time in so long.
I used to hate Anaheim during the Getzlaf and Perry era, but they are so talented and so fun to watch now I am starting to like them.
How gut wrenching its gotta feel being a Flyers fan seeing Gauthier turn into a 40 goal scorer this fast..
I hope the ducks play Vegas in the 1st round or Oilers. The ducks haven’t lost to Vegas during the regular season which is the 1st time the ducks have actually looked good against them. Now with Hart and the new coach, a very good challenge for them. With the Oilers you get a chance to score tons of goals and go against the greatest hockey player of this new generation. If they lost against either in 6, I’d be happy to know they got good experience out of it. But I hope they go on a run🤞 because that would be awesome!!! Let’s go ducks! Ducks and Kings Conference final match up?😂 Would be crazy. This has been a good season to watch.
