All anybody has to say is when did the leafs last win a cup. Here's the thing. No Canadian team has won it in 33 years the leafs havent won in 60. And the Canadian markets are still the some of best in the NHL as far as income and revenue sales. The NHL is a business at the end of the day. These American teams will keep winning Stanley Cups because hockey in the states is like the third or fourth most popular sport, and they need to make money somehow . Say what you want but mark my words no Canadian franchise will win a Stanley Cup until that fucking loser Gary Bettman is gone

The Faulk situation is interesting. If he wants to remain in Detroit the Wings could extend him this off season to hopefully take some pressure off Seider. If he doesn't want to stay in Detroit or if the Wings feel that he isn't a good fit, he can be traded for an equal type of defenseman or to a contending team for a first round pick. Wings have some options here.
