Congrats Sabres fans. Super super happy for you. And as a Bills fan I got love for Sabres. I was born in Buffalo and raised in Vegas so I’m a Bills fan and a Knights fan. But still happy for Sabres and their fans. Hope you go on a run!
Really great to see the Y, clinched div. , next to Sabres in standings. BUT the power play is a liability and must be fixed.

Back in October I thought I was being optimistic with hoping they’d make a wildcard spot. Even during the 10-game win streak I figured maybe a top 3 was doable but there’s no way we’d hit 1. They blew my expectations out of the water at every turn, it feels like living through a season-long sports movie. So happy we are getting to experience playoff hockey at all, having home ice for the first game is perfect.
Don't blame the new style of the PP on Quinn at the back, that whole SHG was solely on Dahlin. He pushed in and tried to make a pass through Chicago players, and they made him pay. I thought Quinn played that 2 on 1 as best as he could as a non defensive forward. UPL is the guaranteed starter, guessing Lyon as backup. The guy really have to watch out for the big hits and there will be a lot of illegal hitting and cheap shots. Its what makes the playoffs so hard. I don't expect Norris to survive too long as he puts himself in dangerous situations. I would almost be sitting every player for the final game.

After the 10 game win streak – I kept waiting for them to fall back to normalcy. The worst they did after that was 7-2-1. Just kept winning. Then after the long Olympic break I expected them to fall back to normalcy – maybe .500 hockey………instead they went on a 8 game win streak. They had one minor hiccup towards the end here and they were still above .500 hockey. Now their on a 4 game win streak lol……
I hope they pick up the intensity for the playoffs. I’d hate to see them get over powered and out played and look like a deer caught in headlights.
turned off the sabres game after the SHG came back for the remainder of the game because i said "watch i turn off the game, they tie it." sure enough 1-1 after the first and sabres come out and smoke chicago the rest of the game especially in the 3rd.
This literally could be the most impressive in-season turnaround in NHL history. From last place in the conference on Dec. 8 to clinching the Atlantic Division in Game 81. Unreal job by the players and coaches. ⚔️💪

Stanley made that quick, snap-pass to Dahlin inside the blue line… that made it possible for Dahlin to hit Tuch streaking to the net.
Either choice seems ehhhhh for wild card to me. But beating Boston all these years later would feel better to me. Losing to Ottawa would hurt more.
