I didn’t know this was a thing lol
It’s not a lineal title. If it is a regular season belt, then whoever has it at the end of the regular season should have it to start the next season. But the Cup winner starts with the belt the next year. (The Kings had the belt to end the year we won the Cup, and we had the belt to start the next year, impressively hanging onto it for two and a half weeks.)
