S’il est arrivé au camp hors de forme, c’est de sa faute, mais je suis tellement impressionné par la façon dont il a tout géré. pas de plainte ni de bouderie, il suffit de baisser la tête et de travailler et de travailler.
Il va finir avec 19 buts (sauf s’il en empoche 1 ce soir) & 48 points (sauf s’il en obtient ce soir) lors de sa 2ème saison NA à 20/21 ans… Jouant les minutes de 3ème ligne. C’est sacrément impressionnant.
Il s’agit très probablement de son plancher et cela devrait enthousiasmer tout le monde car son potentiel reste élite.

I’m starting to like this Michkov kid
Oh also, fck the beat reporters (Kurz) & national ppl (barstool) who tried picking on the kid ALL year. Some blame goes to Tocchet too because he should’ve kept stuff between them.
Nothing has been more frustrating than on EVERY national broadcast hearing how he came into camp out of shape, but yet they’d never mention how great he was playing post break.
Clowns.
Hopefully, he can get a goal and a couple points tonight to get to 20G/50p, I feel like that will take some of the sting out of the season for him.
He looks like Michkov from last year. He’s going to be sick for us for a long time.

He needs to go to the Bobby Brink skating school. Seriously, whoever fixed BB’s skating turned him into a different player. Michkov with some more speed would be a force.
Its not as impressive considering his ceiling and the clout surrounding him. But its also not a detrimental indication that hes on a bad path. Kucherov in his 2nd and 3rd seasons had 60 points. Nathan mackinnon had 38 in year two with the next two seasons being 50 point seasons for him. Michkov has every chance to hit the ceiling we had all hoped for. Its just been a tough season to watch him regress a bit. People are panicking because he outpaced ovechkin in the russian league and was supposed to be almost celebrini level good. Brierre picked him up from the airport… My goals for him are to become faster stronger and much more disciplined. The kid needs to stay out of the box. Also… him learning english so he could really be a part of the crew and do interviews would be awesome. Hes going to be fine.

His +/- improving so much this year is a metric that should be looked at as well. Very impressed with the youngster.
So fucking proud of how hard this kid has been playing. He has been so good when they need him. You are right he has put his head down and worked. He wants to be coached. So excited for the future with him on the team
The Athletic did an article where they looked at each East team and the “components” they need to win a Cup. You need a superstar forward and another elite scoring forward.
Michkov can be the superstar and Martone the scoring forward or vice versa. The upside is there.
