Kevin has been there done that, that's why he is perfectly for the job, Sean McDermott & Brandon beane have also given him & the sabres organization alot of advice & you can see that advice becoming reality along with Kevin Adam's ability
They really have turned a corner. I was honestly skeptical of the Adams hire given his lack of experience, but I really do think the Sabres have found their Brandon Beane. And not because he's perfect (hell, Beane traded away Wyatt Teller). In fact, my biggest criticism of GMKA his first year was that he brought in mediocre veterans who only succeeded in blocking young talent, but you could see from what he did moving forward that he learned from that. And then bringing in Karmanos, Ventura, Nightengale, etc was telling, insofar as those guys were all incredibly well regarded and making relatively lateral moves. They wanted to be in Buffalo. And they've nailed both drafts since that full regime was in place. Then you add Don Granato and his experience developing talent, what he brings to the locker room, and it's a really exciting time to be a Sabres fan. You've gotta give credit to the Pegulas too. Whatever mistakes they've made with this team, they got this one right. Really happy that GMKA is gonna be here for the foreseeable future, and it's been a long time since I've felt that way about a Sabres GM. Let's go Buffalo!!!
