Love his honesty. The stats sheet doesnt lie. Thats piss poor effort and man we crumbled into the finish just short yet again. Injuries, weight of success/pressure of it, whatever excuse you want to use. They came up short again. We’ve quietly accumulated pieces, havent given up too much in draft picks. Trade/sign the right guys and Bones and season 2 should be worth a watch.

All aboard the bone train toot toot. 🦴🚂

He’s already banking on coming back because of how much he hates losing. The players need that mentality.

I’d better hope to see this man back behind the bench next year. This has embodied my frustration with this team and its competitive level when the going gets tough throughout these last few campaigns. The fanbase needs to embody this same attitude going forward as well. This cannot and should not be accepted under any circumstances.

My husband and I have been saying for years that this organization is fine with mediocrity.

Down vote me all you want, but There is another culture in this organization that needs to be fixed and that is the Culture in the Stands.

The fans of this team have accepted losing for far too long. There aren’t nearly enough boos from the fans when the players play poorly. And watch this 3 minute video above again if you think the team played well tonight.

Its time for the fans of this team to express their dissatisfaction with losing culture directly to the players.

Love Bowness! One of my favorite coaches! Bluejackets should be very grateful to have him!

  9. Love bones, hope he stays but like last game, already eliminated against another team in the same position? The boys are looking towards golf and not hits, why pretend otherwise?

I hope some of those changes include Boone. Watching post-game now & he is simply not pissed enough for what happened.
    Damn, I miss Fliggy

It starts with the ownership. They have always acted like the little kid that’s just happy to sit at the big boy table. Look at the other team’s owners and what they have done and are doing….

Our team has been a joke for 25 years. And the ownership just clutches their purse strings and spent money on useless guys like Mike Priest, Doug Maclean and Scott Howson. Had washed up bums like John Davidson that were only here for the paycheck. We finally got a decent GM in Jarmo and he operated with one hand tied behind his back cause we gave him no financial support.

We won’t attract any free agents if the owners don’t step up. We can’t compete against Vegas or Utah doing this same shit year after year.

If our FO is competent, they’d re-sign Bones tomorrow.

It’s on everyone, but ive been watching the NHL since the early 80’s. For Rick Bowness of all people to get this visibly upset about the culture within the team is one hell of an indictment of the captain.

Bones has stripped captaincies before. He definitely wouldn’t be afraid to here. In Winnipeg before taking Wheeler’s away, he said « something’s off » with the leadership. This presser is flat out scathing.
