The game was over when Wallstedt made that save off the stanchion right to Cutter and he was completely out of position. That shot with the goalie out of position probably has to have like a 94% goal chance or something. And we can’t score. At some point we really do have to make some luck instead of just outplaying teams and then losing night after night

Gonna get downvoted but aside from the St. Louis game and some awful parts of the Calgary game, I really don’t think they’ve looked that bad during this losing streak. Guessing a lot of the advanced metrics are up, but I might be wrong.
If they continue playing this way without the major defensive gaffes, I legit think they can be competitive with anyone, even the Avs. Would I bet on them? Fuck no. But they’ve controlled play in nearly all of these games. Ketchup bottle gonna pop sooner or later. Hopefully sooner.

What this doesn’t show are the handful of times we decide to take a few shifts off. Directly led to the second goal against. If we could just once play a 60 minute game, we wouldn’t need to rely on last minute comebacks.
