should be a fun series, a stressful series, but it’s nice to have something different for the first round
We don’t get to beat up on our children in the first round this year (Devils and Islanders)
Last time the Carolina Hurricanes took on an opponent from Canada in the quarterfinals, they went on to do the thing… just saying
I know we struggled against the Sens during the season, but I feel like I’m one of the only ones who actually prefers that matchup over the Bruins. The Bruins are loaded with heavy, physical guys who play that rough, in-your-face style and love to drop the gloves.
Yeah, we’ve got Deslauriers now, but that’s still not really our identity. I just don’t want us getting out of the first round banged up with half the lineup injured.
Contrary to popular opinion, I’d rather the Sens than the Bruins. The bruins series tend to get weird.

Could end up as a Danish classic. Ehlers and Andersen versus Lars Eller and Mads Søgaard (although I doubt he’s on the roster having only played one game in the show this year)
Ottawa is a top 3 team in the league since late January. Based on that, they should be the favourite in this series.
