I wouldn’t label laine as a high compete guy either though. He may have been right but he’s throwing stones from a glass house

this is the key difference in mindset btw teams that consistently compete for the Cup and those that don’t. it’s not just a matter of wanting to win, it’s hating to lose. those teams show up all the time even when things are hard.
Laine will sign a 1x1M deal with the Habs with a NTC.
