An empty netter just to annoy you

  2. Trombomb20

Idk, Oilers play the Canucks. McDavid might be able to swing 6 goals

    Edited: Kraken to Canucks

  3. HalfInchHollow

Probably, but not officially. If anyone can score 6 in one game, it’s McDavid.

  4. ChoBooBear

He celebrated hard after this one but not for himself. Marty Necas’ first ever 100 point season with the assist on this. The boys were stoked for him.

Beautiful Clean Goal Cole wins the rocket in my heart

  6. DimSumDino

the oilers are the type of team where mcd would get 8 goals and they’d still find a way to lose lol

  7. What is that, 8 empty net goals on the season? LOL

  8. msp01986

In an empty net, pathetic, my man Cole almost beat that dude with a grand total of 0 career empty net goals!

Just kidding of course, I just wanted to point out that fun fact, congrats to Nate, he’s an amazing player!

  9. Caufield had 10 shots last night so it’s not because he didn’t try. Hats off to Mackinnon.

    Another empty net goal 🤦‍♂️

  11. househamer

Caufield deserves it. 51 with no gimmies. What a stud

  12. Gurthy_Lengthiness

I’ve always thought that they shouldn’t count empty netters for the Rocket trophy, it seems against the spirit of a real goal scorer

  13. Cinderella272

How many empty net goals compared to 0 of caufield??????

  14. I would like to point out that empty net goals are when a team and a player are out on the ice short handed and playing defense. It isn’t like they just get to stand in front of the net and shoot with no one trying to stop them. I am not sure why they should count for less as a player and team still have to work hard for them.

    Secured is definitive.

Mackinnon winning the Rocket is near certain, but not secured.

He’s beaten Cole Caufield for it, but McDavid still gets to play the Canucks one last game. A double hat trick is possible for McD.

Now, Robertson potting 9 goals against the Sabres is pretty outside the realm of possibilities, but it COULD happen.

Now, what I want to see?

Ducks beat the Preds, Kings beat the Flames, Oilers lose to the ‘Nucks 4-3 but in regulation. But McD scoring 6 and losing 6-7 in regulation also works.
