Boston has 2 good lines, the mitts line is very good unfortunately
Calm down guys Bruins got matchup they wanted and have the physicality and size to to push the game to wall battles where the Sabres are vulnerable
I don’t see any comparison ever between Bruins or Patriots. Has zero to do with it. Boston has better D and goaltending than Ottawa. We must attack consistently and keep them on their heels.
Carolina will beat Ottawa. I think Montreal pulls out a tough series vs Tampa. Will Lindy play Lyon or Ellis? What if Ellis shines vs Dallas even though they likely rest players? Is Lyon close? Is Lyon now the backup? Yes unless Luukenen struggles. But EPL has been great. He gives up a goal early and then settles in

Buffalo was 5th in goals and 5th in goals against and that’s what you need to go far in the playoffs, Buffalo fans saying we will get swept by Boston are silly. Buffalo is fast, has a great PK which led in sh goals.
The Pastrnak line isn’t even bostons best line , Arvidsson Zacha Mittelstadt is a top 5 line in the league statistically

You can’t say Boston is a one line team when the 2nd line Zacha had 30 goals and Arvidsson had 25 that is more than the Sabres that being said I made a rather aggressive series bet on the Sabres really because of the disparity in speed with these teams
You can't forget that Bruins are playing with zero-stakes. Sabres have 14 years of pressure on their shoulders. Remember Bruins v Florida in 2023? Also, Boston actually has better depth scoring than Ottawa. Don't sleep on this team. Their best line is their 2nd line (Arvidsson – Mittelstadt – Zacha). They are a top 3 5on5 line in the entire NHL. Nearly every player is having career years and their entire roster is healthy. It's not going to be easy.

It’s gonna be a battle- either Sway takes over the series and stops the Sabres in their tracks like he did vs Toronto in ‘24 or the Sabres figure him out in the first two games and have their way with a mixed bag Bruins d core.

I would say you can't lose to Boston because the team is made up of a bunch of discarded ex-sabres players
