Reclaimed Douglas Fir/Mount Douglas seems like a good glue guy.
One thing I will say about DeBrusk, my only criticism from seeing his play over the past two years is his inconsistency, but his attitude is always top notch.
I said it was crazy when the trade deadline was here that so many fans were calling for the Canucks to sell low on JDB. He’s inconsistent as hell and he’s certainly not the most dynamic player, but the man is automatic 20+ goals every single year. No reason to rush trading that, wait till you get a better offer. As the cap goes up, his contract will only get cheaper too.
These guys always like swinging the axe around eh? I’m not sure they realize just how dangerous it is.

The way this season went, I am half expecting the ‘utility line’ in a couple of years with Raty and Debrusk… Raty just taking faceoffs, and Debrusk just playing on the power play. Neither seeing much play otherwise.
He’s exactly what a 2nd line winger looks like on this roster…streaky but needed. If he’s hitting 20+, you live with the swings.
Petey actually looks so fucking stoked that he finally passed to someone who had what it takes to run it upstairs.
The next guy to get the axe should be Foote. He’s earned it.
Douglas has definitely handled an axe before, guy rules.
