Ducks are playing with house money. If we lose, the bright spot could be seeing the Kings lose to EDM again. Any team we face will be a bonus for a team not expected to be in the playoffs. Zero pressure on us.

My preference would be Vegas. Second choice would be Kings.

The last part is wrong if Kings win and Ducks lose, then we play Colorado. If Both win we the worst case is 3rd.
I feel pretty confident Vegas is going to win so let’s make it simple. If the Ducks win they finish 3rd at worse. Then they either play EDM or LAK.
The rest can play out on its own. All that matters is Ducks win.

I think your 4th scenario only applies if the Kings have a better result than the Ducks. If we have equal results, it would fall into the first two scenarios.
