The biggest question with the Toronto Maple Leafs is will they break my Cubs North American title drought record (108 years from 1908-2016)?!?
Will they win a Stanley🏆before or after 2075?!?😅
AVS are just smartly trying to survive these games intact & not get hurt…they locked up Prez trophy 3 games ago bro,& have gone 2-0-1 since BTW. I'm not sure what you expect in a completely meaningless game where the only thing that would matter is if somebody got hurt. An earlier game vs Calgary the game when we almost had everything locked up,& were ahead like 7-1 (& won 9-2)-Makar did get hurt on a clean but hard hit,& we dodged a bullet it wasn't very bad. Kadri,& Manson have both since suffered injuries not expected to be serious but still IN COMPLETELY MEANINGLESS GAMES for us. Don't compare our team in game 81 to your heartless Leafs who quit when they were still alive for the playoffs. This team put it more on cruise control in 2022 after they clinched the West,& before they won the Cup.
Lost like 6 of their last 7,& I watched 2001 AVS wisely do the same thing,& both teams won the cup. I'm 49 but acting like every player in this generation is as unprofessional, selfish & 1 dimensional (& yes super talented l)as William Nylander or as soft & selfish as Brandon Carlo (big, soft pu$$y who won't stick up for his teammates-our guys have proven they will stick up for each other)is ludicrous exaggeration,& painting everybody with same brush. This AVS team just tied that 2022 team for the most points even in franchise history-theres nothing else worth risking your health over. You apparently would be the kind of dumb coach who'd play all your guys big minutes & risk their health for the playoffs foolishly. Id be pissed if my AVS were out there throwing hits, fighting over everything & blocking shots when all that matters is health for the playoffs.
Usually you guys are great but trying to compare our team who took care of business long ago to the Leafs or Bluejackets is absolutely hysterical. I guess since Kadri is expected back for the playoffs you think less of him cuz he didn't play last night? Should he have played 20 minutes with broken finger in a MEANINGLESS game? You are foolish,& need to get some priorities straight if you really believe that. Ask Jim Harbaugh how that worked getting 1 of his key WRs hurt in a meaningless 17th game-i think 2 yrs ago.Dude missed their playoff loss cuz of it.And I don't care about fans who pay money to go to the games.Avs owe their players,& fans WHATS BEST FOR THE ORGANIZATION IN THE PLAYOFFS! Not to some fan who paid big money to bring lil Johnny to see Kadri play. And I work at AVS,& Nugs arena in Denver & say exact same thing about our fans who whine about paying full price when either team wisely rests guys in meaningless games. That's the risk you should know you are taking-buying tickets to an NBA or NHL game #80 or later.
The biggest question with the Toronto Maple Leafs is how many decades of being a total loser will the fans bare. There will never be the talent we saw over the past 10 years on this team and the best they could do is 7 wins in the playoffs in 2025. You wont see talent like that on this team for at least 25 years.
respectfully I can't listen to any conversation from any pundit around about trading Matthews …..There is not a team in the NHL that would trade that player or wouldn't want that player on on their team …..Nylander or Marner they should have got rid of years ago for some defensive help and not tried to go all out every year… have a few draft picks and some more picks on the team and we wouldn't be in this mess Bottom line…
Isn't tit a laugh hearing, "we took Florida to 7 games." So what? The Leafs lost and the Panthers went on to win the Cup. Toronto? 60 years of failure. Enough BS.
the conversation was always about surrounding the core 4 …supporting the core 4 on the 3rd and 4th lines…. when the actual problems where defence and a couple better players in the top six,,,, I just rewatched the 2023 Panthers Series They actually outplayed the Panthers forwards …but got goalied…. Samsonov left in horrific goals… Morgan Riley played like a forward was horrible in his own end and Lilagrilen got bounced around like a beach ball gave up the puck in critical times causing goals…
Rosie You're so right about this generation… It's the participation award generation…..they're playing for the ferrari …playing for the money …I get a trophy even if I lose….. To hell with everyone else..
Mercifully, It’s Over? Are they not playing next year?
I would pay $100 to Fart on the mic 🎤 on a leaf’s goal
It’s so funny how this Goalie Stolie refuses to go to AHL after a injury Just to return to another injury 😂, Stolie is neither Good for AHL or The NHL, The guy is a money pit n useless. Everything about the Leaf’s is pure n utter disaster
