I also think he’s gonna come back next season especially cause I doubt he wants to go out not making the playoffs. Also I feel like he would want at least his family in attendance to the game regardless if they do any on ice stuff for him.

I know he doesn’t want any big fanfare, but it would be quite weird if Backström/Carlson weren’t attending his final game (although Carlson now depends on his own schedule). I’d also imagine Oshie and Kuznetzov would want to be there too.
