I’d be interested to see if there’s any correlation between a combined xGF + xGA average rating and cup winners. Sens being the only team in the top 5 for both seems very promising…

So it’s an unstoppable force vs immoveable object kinda situation? Should be a fun match up!
Silver lining, with all the injuries that occurred at the end of the season, I’m not as nervous with our defence when Sanderson and Chabot are not on the ice. Zub, Spence and Matinpalo had to go through a trial by fire to get us here.
I don’t know enough about Carolina’s defence pairings but I like knowing any of our D lines will stand a good chance against any line Carolina throws out there during their home games.
