  1. I was in a hotel near there last night, it was so bad the front desk called all the rooms advising us to shelter in the hallway!

*one panel of the structure that’s covering the roof

  3. slickswitch

But the arena announcer told us it was time to raise the roof.

  4. the arena DJ must have played Sandstorm – Darude

  5. Roofer here! They’re actually not supposed to do that. In a perfect world, it stays on top of the rest of the structure.

Ann Arbor and South Detroit ended up under tornado warnings last night. I live in Ontario near the Michigan border and was keeping a close eye on it last night.

Not gonna lie, I thought the headline was a metaphor for some salacious scandal that had been uncovered. Didn’t expect it to be literal.

Besides Yost, our local Ice Rink at Vets was also blown apart leaving just the rink run by Black Bear 🙁

Looks like they were bringing down the house

  10. When they said « roof the puck » this is not what they meant.

Was woken up by a Tornado Warning notification on my phone at 1:30am, followed quickly by the siren. That storm front was no joke. That lightning was nonstop and the winds were heavy.

This has been a terrible spring for tornadic activity here and wind/tornado damage. I’ve gone to our (Michigan) Basement 5 times now I think already and it’s only mid-April.

And oh yeah, everything is flooding because it won’t stop raining, so dams are about to be spilled over.

Seriously, Michigan is having a weather crisis at the moment. It needs to stop storming and raining.

We had some crazy weather here last night. Tornados touched down, luckily they always seem to miss my area.

I’m not surprised with all the nasty weather in the region recently. Hopefully they’re able to fix it quickly.

Damn. Mother Nature took “Go Blew” a bit too seriously

Probably act of God but can you rule out Ohio St?

Man even mother nature doesn’t want Michael Hage to go back for one more year

Did it spin off from behind the building lacrosse style?

That was a pretty nasty storm last night, I’m in southwest Ontario and we didn’t get the wind so much but the rain and and lightning was wild.

  19. I used to to live almost across the street from this building, very surreal for me to see some of the pictures I have seen.

In Michigan we had a really nasty thunderstorm last night and a few tornado warnings. Last night I was listening to tornado warning sirens before bed, luckily I wasn’t in the area affected but they play out across the county and it’s very eerie.

It’s not that bizarre, a tornado hit Ann Arbor
