Assumption is Ducks are resting Trouba, Carlson, & Gudas. So if Moore stays up front with Kreider sitting out again, then the blue line looks like an all kid core of Lacombe, Helleson, Minty, Zelly, Hinds, & Luneau.
Or management is not happy with Zelly or Helleson and are encouraged from what they seen from Hinds and bringing up his partner and see what they have. A little late imo, but could spark something.
Still think it’s 99% the first option.

They did paper transactions for Tim Washe and Ian Moore earlier in the season so they’re Calder Cup playoff eligible. Johnston is likely able to play soon, might see Ian Moore tendered down to play D for the Gulls soon. Harkins should still be out for a while.
