Crevier is our Dustin Byfuglien RD/RW
Nice way to end the season! Bedard, in particular, was really noticeable in the third period.
Can’t leave the last thread of the season without mentioning how excited I am at the prospect of Korch being a full time NHL’er next year. He’s looked so much better down the last stretch here and we’re a better team when he’s cooking
Of course the game I go to is the worst one in years and then they pull out this beauty right after.
Next year Bedard is taking over the league
lovely way to end with the tank already secured.
cya may 5th!!
What a game and way to end this wild season! 2 Crev goals, 2 Bedsy points, a Miky penalty shot, and no Celebrini goals/points! We needed this one so bad. My voice is gone lol. Best bday gift ever. It’s been awesome chatting with you guys. See y’all for the draft. ❤️
It’s been a rough and disappointing year, I think it’s good to vent frustrations, then taking a step back and assessing the team going forward. We have a good amount of young players with potential, however it showed how bad of an idea it is to field them all at the same time with barely any established vets. Hoping this offseason and draft priorities are getting a stud winger to play on Bedard’s line and getting two quality veteran defensemen. I think atm Crev, Vlasic, Kaiser and Korchinski should have spots locked up. Lev might need more time in Rockford.
I don’t pop in the game threads nearly as much as I have in prior years but it’s always a good time bullshiting with you all. Let’s look forward to this offseason and some awesome playoffs. Cheers!!
Wtf, I turned the game off when they were losing. I turned it back on after and it was a rerun, I missed it. I turned back off, I look up the score and they pulled this off. WTF!
rebuild deniers are in shambles
Not the season we wanted, but definitely proud of how the youngins finished it up. See you dorks next season!
Way to go out. Positive vibes.

Winning is more fun. Set these boys up for success.
Crazy for this season to be an 11 point improvement and still be 2nd last in the league
first time i’ve worn my bedard jersey to a game and now im never washing it. looking forward to next season. LGH
Shootout to the fam next to me telling the sharks to get back in the fish tank
Nice way to end the season. Still a lot of youth and inexperience to grow through next year, but they are taking steps with a lot of help on the way. Painful as it can be at times, it is nice so many of these young kids already have extended NHL experience.
Burakovsky had 29 points in 38 games to start the season, 4 points in his last 37 games…ouch!
Man, those couple of helpings of back hand sauce Bedard dished out were beauties. Draisaitl would be impressed.
Impressive Bedard stat I started following around the new year. 98 had a 3 game stretch where he didn’t collect a point and that was the ONLY multi-game drought he went through.
Other than that never went more than 1 game without a point. Pretty impressive, especially with the lack of talent on his wings and the rough second half of the season. Bodes well for the future.
After the game I checked the top 10 scorers to see how many multi-game pointless streaks they had.
McDavid – 1 (same as Bedard)
Kucherov – 3
MacKinnon – 3
Celebrini – 5
Scheifele – 7
Suzuki – 2
Necas – 4
Pasta – 3
Draisitl – 2
Robertson – 4
Good final game.
This has gotta be the last year with zero meaningful games played. They can’t be a bottom 3 team again.
First offseason move: Buyout Burakovsky and Teuvo
That’s a good way to end the season! Definitely some work to do in the offseason, but (seemingly unlike a lot of people here) I actually think this FO knows what they’re doing. Now, will they be able to accomplish all of it? Probably not, but I’m confident that they’re going to try. It’s going to be a weird offseason and I honestly think it’s going to be pretty « boring » in that nothing big will happen. Though only time will tell
Missed this one but glad to see the kids get involved on the score sheet, particularly the young defenseman. Glad Lardis got his 10th. One game doesn’t change the fact that the 2nd half of our season was garbage for the most part, but hey now let’s all focus on that draft lottery and I’ve got a good feeling actually we’re gonna wind up with a top 2 pick. I think the young group of forwards will be electric moving forward but we’re definitely gonna have to do something about the D. Need to sign a vet who can play top pairing role/mins and run a PP, maybe Carlson if possible.
Finished on a high note!
Hope they are better next season and around the wild cards. Finishing in the bottom 3 again is not acceptable
crazy how one good game can overturn all those misery endured in that final stretch..sport fans(myself) are so gullible <3 honestly feeling #hopecore again with these young guys can can’t wait for the big moves in the summer and the next season!!!
we own celebrini somehow
