Chills. I was 6yr old and barely remember flashes. It’s been too long, a whole generation doesn’t even know how it feels (lol leafs)

“… Here in the famous Forum in Montreal! The Canadiens win the Stanley Cup!” That call gives me chills!

I was almost 10 years old and it’s one of my most vivid childhood memories. Grinning ear to ear, watching my hero Patrick Roy and my beloved Canadiens hoist the Stanley Cup. I can still picture the shitty little 13” tube TV I watched it happen on.

One of the most legendary playoff runs in history.

I watched every game of that run with my uncle and sister. I was so tired and slept in my 7th grade classes often as games went to 1am. So many kids were tired.

I was an idea when this happened

They were not supposed to be there in the Stanley Cup Finals in 93. They aren’t supposed to be in 2026. Let’s keep hope alive!!!

I was 21, a huge Habs fan, glued to the TV for every game that year. Oh, to have the feeling again one day.

9 months minus 1 day later I was born…. Makes me wonder lol

I was a teenager, and I really remember how crazy it all was. I remember that this game was mid-week, and we were all so excited and tired in high school the next day!
Although, for my money, the most intense bit of the 92-93 playoffs was the first round against Quebec City. That rivalry was just beyond, especially since, if I remember correctly, rumours had started that the Nordiques might leave Quebec. (I seem to remember that it went on for many years before they actually moved.)

Sportsnet made a doc of the 1993 Habs Cup run: https://youtu.be/h-Itg7Frnk0?si=dt6AVxFdmC1GCYJz.
I had completely forgotten the McSorley stick length penalty that turned the momentum against the Kings.
Jacques Demers CLASSIC
I wish the Habs could go back to blue kickplates.
I was 6, and still 8 years from discovering hockey in the first place.
Rediscovered 10 years later, becoming a Habs fan.
