Mammoth could definitely win this series, though the Knights have been playing much better since Torts took over.

This is actually an interesting new playoff rivalry potentially.

    The tale of 2 conferences:

Eastern Conference playoff teams: Nobody with less than 98 points, 5 with 100+ points

Western Conference playoff teams: 3 teams with 100+ points, 5 with 95 or less points.

Go Mammoth, I guess? Can’t to see how they’ll do.

So the whole West is set now too?

    Avalanche-Kings

    Stars-Wild

    Knights-Mammoth

    Oilers-Ducks

Last matchup was 4-0 for Mammoth. If their best boys are healthy, they have a good chance of making it through to round 2.

I was indifferent to Utah having any success until now. Now? I want them to do to Vegas what Vegas did to the other NHL contenders

Mammoth take this one. Knights are slow and old. Mammoth are young and scary fast out there.

Never got to play the Coyotes in the playoffs unfortunately, but this series should be electric. 💛🩶

I’ll be rooting for Vegas, but I’ll also be pleasantly surprised if Utah squeak it’s out.

All chatter online I see is saying VGK in 4, VGK easily, etc.

Meanwhile, Mammoth +30 goal differential in a division with the Avs, Stars, and Wild. And VGK +15 in the easiest division in the league. And were almost breaking even with like a +6 with less points than the Mammoth until this week.

At best, this is even, but I tend to think Mammoth are the favorites and people will be surprised for some reason.
