Never want to cheer for injuries, but can’t say I am upset to not have to face Hintz. He has been their scariest player against us IMO, and of course Miro has done too good of a job against Kaprizov in the past.

I don’t want to see players hurt, but obviously this is a big opportunity for the Wild.

    if you don’t go up 2-0 that’s a loss

We’ve been here before. The Wild have historically failed to ever take advantage of this scenario. Precedent says the Wild split the first two games dropping a game they should have won which then haunts them when Hintz comes back and it’s a big boost for the Stars.

This time I want to believe it will be different.

Also would like to add that rantanen might be playing through an injury. I’ve been reading some stuff over on the Dallass sub. He returned from injury right at the end of March, and he’s not exactly playing “bad” but there’s some concern with their fans on if he’s 100%. Taking a lot less shots.

  6. Biggest scare here is that they’re going to get a jolt when Hintz returns to the lineup. We need to capitalize early

Dallas fans and media might do something heinous, again

If it allows us to steal one or two of those road games we might be singing.

In the season series we both won both home games, so maybe stealing one early can get us the series and into round 2.

Bonus points if you can pronounce the Stars beat writer’s name.
