Sorry guys feel like I'm in bizarro world. How is the worst player not Duclair???? OK fine make him most disappointing or Shabanov. Heineman doubles his goal output from the prior season. Cizikas is a 4th line grinder playing with no one and everyone all season. Worst/disappointing has to be Duclair/Shabanov/Tsplakhov. In and out of the lineup all season

I hate to say it because I love him but Cizikas had an off season.
Mayfield is the worst player on the isles and its not really close
Emil Heineman was a disappointment? A second year pro who bounced around between lines 1 through 4 on a team with one of the most anemic offenses in the NHL and still managed 22 goals which was good for third on the team? Heineman's ceiling is second liner on a mediocre to poor team and realistically third liner on a good team. If DeBoer created a third line of let's say Pageau centering Heineman and Holmstrom and left it alone…it should be productive, we'll see next season what happens. In the meantime, maybe Mitch should spend more time compiling Corsi charts, player evaluation does not appear to be his strength.
All year long we said we needed someone to protect Schaefer!!
Now we need someone to protect our Captain!!
I would wait 3-5 years or just until “he’s ready”
